Dialogue and Partnership in Uralsk

International Research and Practical Conference "People of Neighboring States Russia and Kazakhstan on Eurasian Space — Dialogue and Partnership" took place in Uralsk at the end of November where OSU Research Department of South Ural’s History and Ethnography was one of the organizers.

The delegation of local scientists, led by Head of Research Department — Doctor of Historical Sciences Venaliy Amelin represented Orenburg.

The head of West Kazakhstan Region — Nurlan Nogaev, General Consul of Russia in Uralsk — Said Zabitov, scientists, lecturers of Kazakhstan and Russian universities took part in the opening and work of the conference. Perspectives of Russian-Kazakhstan partnership in scientific, economical and humanitarian fields, questions of ethnic history and spiritual culture, interethnic agreement principles, modern ethnopolitical and ethnomigrational processes, as well as questions of saving languages and cultures of Eurasia nations were discussed during the plenary meeting and on sessions.

Memorandum of Cooperation between History and Law Faculty of West-Kazakhstan State University named after Mahambet Utemisov and OSU Research Department of South Ural’s History and Ethnography intended to confirm cooperation between universities of Uralsk and Orenburg in scientific sphere was signed during the conference.
