Japanese Practical Training of OSU Students

Students learning Japanese language in OSU Japanese Information Center took educational training in Japan within Japan-Russian Center Programs of youth exchange.

The student of Mathematical Faculty, Sergey Yahnitskiy and students of Philology and Journalism Faculty Anna Burlakova and Olga Naumova attended Japanese classes at University Ritsumeikan (Kyoto), as well as met Japanese students and lecturers. Also they learned about importance of every drafting ink’s line and art of flower’s compositions on calligraphy and flower arrangement master classes.

The students visited Tokyo Tower, the largest Buddhist Temple Zojoji, Edo Imperial Palace, Yasaka Shrine, Kinkaku-ji Gold Pavilion after classes. The variety of sightseeing helped to understand the world of delightful and mysterious Japan.

The meeting of Russian delegation participants with representatives of Japanese Students Organizations took place while the training, where questions about Russia-Japan exchange were discussed. Orenburg State University is among 20 Russian partner institutions of Japan-Russian Center of youth exchange. Lecturers from Japan held Japanese classes in OSU for the seventh year due to this partnership.
