Orenburg — Leipzig: Cooperation Is Continuing

Kurt Ernst Klaus Hanßgen, professor of informatics, mathematics and natural sciences in Leipzig University of Applied Sciences came to OSU on the 22^d of September.

Vice-rector for Scientific Research Sergey Letuta, Vice-rector for International Affairs Grigoriy Pyatkin and Head of International Programs and Projects Department Oleg Krikotov were present on the meeting of OSU Rector Vladimir Kovalevskiy with Professor Klaus Hanßgen. The questions of further professors’ exchange between universities and students internship in Leipzig were discussed during this meeting.

Already 30 OSU students completed study semesters in frames of student’s exchange in Germany from 2009. From eight to ten students undertake short-term internships every year. At the moment 3 students of Orenburg State University and Irina Bolodurina — Head of Applied Mathematics Department are taking training courses in Germany.

After the meeting with university administration the guest from Germany has visited Research Library and OSU Museum. In frame of his visit the professor presented a lecture for students and professors of IT, Economics and Management, and Mathematics faculties.
