Head of OSU cellular technologies scientific and production laboratory Ramil Rakhmatullin got shortlisted in candidates for Federation Council of RF Federal Assembly from Orenburg region.

The list was made by the acting chief of Orenburg region Yuriy Berg.

— I regard it as a trust from regional management and as a signal that representatives of innovative science will be shortly demanded for adoption of non-standard, "creative" solutions in administration system — Ramil commented this decision. — For myself I consider development of so called sectoral science as priority which purposefully unites HEIs and sectors of real economy. This approach allows forming new technologies and industries considerably capable to diversify present raw material model of national economy.
