Ideas Flight Over "iVolga"

OSU students took part in the II youth forum of Volga Federal district "iVolga-2014", which was organized on 18–28 June in Samara region.

Over two thousand talented youngsters from 14 Russian regions presented their innovative projects in eight science-fields. Orenburg region was represented by 157 participants — including 28 OSU students. One and half hundred talented students from People's Republic of China came there to take part in research projects development. For the mutual cooperation the organizers created Russian-Chinese session where 7 OSU students participated.

Orenburg students introduced 69 projects at regional stage of the forum and 20 from which went further to the federal stage. The expert jury of Russian-Chinese session awarded the second place to Uliana Shalaeva, student of OSU Economics and Management Faculty, who suggested to create a shop of ecologically pure products "Eco-land". Also Uliana developed the innovative "Elkadom" project in common with students from People's Republic of China, Mordovia, Bashkortostan and Saratov region, which purpose — is to build the multifunctional cultural center of Russia and China. This project serves to help students of mentioned countries to facilitate interacting process with each other and to acquaint with rich culture and traditions.
