Language of Love

There was a premiere in OSU! On the 16^th of May the student’s theatre “Buterbrody” had presented “Babylonian mess” performance for the audience.

The troop was organized by the students of different OSU faculties and participants of German Language Centre. The author and stage director was the theatre manager Bartolomeus Minkowski — assistant professor of German Philology and Methods of German Language Teaching Department, lecturer of Robert Bosch Foundation.

According to the words of B. Minkowski the main aim of this performance was to present the importance of foreign language learning. He is sure that the famous words of J. Goethe: “One who doesn’t know foreign language — knows nothing about his own language” will be always actual. Irina Solodilova — Dean of Philology and Journalism Faculty said that students and listeners had done a great amount of work. They could combine not only the great art of acting, but excellent foreign language implementation.
