Support of Young Elite

The ceremonial meeting of Orenburg region’s governor Yuriy Berg with the laureates of personal prizes and scholarships for young Doctors and Candidates of Sciences was held on the 17^th of April.

85 young Doctors and Candidates of Sciences were awarded with certificates of personal scholarships, 30 of them were representatives of OSU. One of the prizewinners is Svyatoslav Lebedev, Doctor of Biological Sciences — chief of Laboratory of Agricultural Bioelementology of OSU Bioelementology Institute. He deals with development and estimation methods for biological action of different forms of metals-microelements in organisms of animals and plants.

— I am happy that government of Orenburg region and OSU administration give the opportunity to conduct researches and realize ideas, — the scientist said.

According to the order of Orenburg region’s governor 5 Doctor of Sciences were awarded with personal prizes to the value of 100 thousand rubles, 20 Candidates of Sciences received prizes to the value of 50 thousand rubles. 10 Doctors and 50 Candidates of Sciences are receiving personal monthly scholarships from June 2013.
