"OSU — Territory of Health"

The month dedicated to World Healthy Day have started in OSU. "It’s all right when day begins with morning exercises" — with such slogan OSU students and lecturers lined up together for physical exercises in OSU health and fitness hall on the 7^th of April.

Everybody returned to academic buildings after this sport event. However students had opportunity to pay attention for their health too. How to prevent cardiovascular disease? What are the first symptoms of heart disease? The specialists of OSU Students Clinic answered these questions. During this day everyone could measure arterial pressure in academic buildings No. 1, 3, 17 and 20 and get advices for heart diseases prevention.

Besides, OSU Prophylactic Sanatorium opened its doors in Health Day. Head doctor of Sanatorium Tamara Pylaeva organized the excursion at the clinic for OSU first-year students. The competitions in volleyball, table tennis, swimming, arena football and power double-event took place in OSU that day too. The consultations on contraception issues and lectures on skin disease prevention were conducted for students and lecturers of the university; results of students’ works competition devoted to World Health Day were resumed at Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of Orenburg State University.
