Guests from Japan in OSU

The delegation from Tokyo visited OSU on the 20^th of March. Nine students of largest Japanese universities were in the delegation.

The Vice-Rector for Research Sergey Letuta met the guests. The delegation members told that they studied Russian language as the main subject in Japan; therefore the language practice is the main goal of their visit.

The guests from Japan made presentation about their universities. Thus, everyone could find out more about Sofia and Tokyo Universities, about Tokyo University of Foreign Languages and also information how Japanese students live. Orenburg students were especially interested in the festival of national cultures about which they had learned from Risako Yosida.

— Me and my friends represented Russian culture at this festival last year, — the student of Tokyo University of Foreign Languages told. — We cooked cottage pancakes, showed national costumes and performed the stage play according to Turgenev's story "First Love".

Japanese students have learned more about Orenburg State University watching the presentation film about it.

The guests also had excursion around Library of Orenburg State University. They visited museum of OSU history, Geological museum and department of rare and valuable books.
