Students and lectors of Faculty of Electrical Power Engineering of OSU have got an opportunity to print any missing detail for laboratory studies detail. That became possible thanks to 3D-printer at the department of Automatic Electric Drive and Electromechanics.

With its help it is possible to embody a virtual picture into plastic model. The only limitation is a size. The size of every side can't extend more than 12 cm. The new equipment is actively used in educational process.

3D-printer has been purchased in the frame of Orenburg region grant “Development of industrial model of managed electric drive of unit pump on the base of energy-saving asynchronous machine of Adaptive Delta Modulation series with built-in frequency converter for needs of Housing Services and Public Utilities system”.
