Everybody listen to!

On Russian Science Day OSU carried out public lectures.

People of Orenburg and guests of the city have got an opportunity to communicate with scientists on hot topics of Science. More than 600 people enrolled for a course of Physics, Economics, Culturology, Philology. People came to listen to the scientists and ask questions.

— We didn't expect such great success of this project. Public lectures in University should be continued: our citizens should have an opportunity to communicate with scientists, — OSU Rector Vladimir Kovalevskiy noted.

After lectures finished the most curious ones had excursion around OSU Research Library.

— I consider this is very interesting project. It is necessary to expand lectures' subjects and conduct them consequent at different times, it affords opportunity to visit several lectures during a day. Before the Revolution 1917 public lectures were popular among different segments of population. I think, it is important to revive this tradition, — Olga Salnikova, employee of one of Orenburg museums said.
