Smoking Cessation Month in OSU

The coordinating center of volunteer movement “OSU Volunteer” took part in organization of smoking cessation month.

Everyone could receive a badge with the words “I don’t smoke!” to indicate his own position. Angelica Androsova and Marina Halelova — managers of “Smoking Prevention” movement — visited OSU groups meetings. They told about harm of smoking and consequences of unhealthy lifestyle. The students organized also unique training “Sand therapy” for the people suffering from this addiction. As participants noted, the training had positive effect.

The photo competition “Non-Smoking Beauty” was held on the official page of “Vkontakte” social network. The competition was popular and everyone wanted to take part. As a result twelve boys and girls who received maximum votes become participants of photo session promoting healthy lifestyle.
