Dean of Philology Faculty I.A.šSolodilova congratulated the participants with the beginning of the event. She noted that the guest of the Week was Linguistic Cooperation Attaché to French Embassy in Russia, Director of Language and Cultural Center “Alliance Francaise Samara” Eric Antoine.

The reports in French were presented in the Week opening. Head of Romanic philology and methods of French language teaching Department I.Yu.šMoiseeva mentioned the interaction of theatre and real life in her report. OSU lecturer Dominik Cadieux told what kinds of theaters exist in France and whether theatrics is popular among his countrymen. Assistant professor of Romanic philology and methods of French language teaching Department I.V.šPerekhodko, director of Orenburg State University theatre workshop “Masks” shared experience of OSU students’ participation in festivals of Francophone theatres.

The program of the Week of Romanic languages contains sketch show, discussion on topic “Theatre: a place of illusions or real life?” and contest “Beginning script writers”.
