Innovation of OSU scientists — bioskin was modernized. Endoscopy department of city clinical hospital named after N.I. Pirogov undertook individual clinical testing of bioskin use for the treatment of gastric ulcer.

Orenburg medics and OSU scientists are working out new methods of bioplastic material application. Acid-proof bioskin promotes growth of self tissues without sensible pain and discomfort in patient’s stomach. Experts of city hospital state that already two patients cured ulcer with acid-proof bioskin. The third patient is making a good recovery.

"We have encouraging results, which allow expanding research activities and applying this method on the patients for effective treatment in the following", — Head of Facultative Surgery Department of Orenburg State Medical Academy, Doctor of Medical Science D.B. Demin said.
