Aerospace Institute of the OSU opened the first in Orenburg region classroom of numerical control system on the 14thšofšNovember.
Simulators installed allow you to develop program control for machine tools with numerical control (NC) containing information about detail drawing, cycles and operation modes, movements of work piece, and at the same time to see the result of such programming in 3Dšanimation on the screen. It allows in appropriate cases to correct different errors what is impossible to make on active machine tools with NC. 10šworkstations, which will train up to 20 people, were set up in the auditorium of Aerospace Institute by university funding. The cost of such equipment is over 6,5šmillion rubles.

Simulators allow getting of operating skills on the most popular counters: Siemens, GE Fanuc Seriesš21, Heidenhain. According to Aleksey Balukov, leading engineer of Yekaterinburg company Unimatic, which dealt with delivery and equipment installation, the installing counters are main at the moment. According to statistics about 73%šmachine tools, introduced in the market, are equipped with such counters withšNC.
