The Engineering Center was opened on July 12, 2021.
Main objectives:
- organizing the OSU engineering activity to solve problems at high-tech industries;
- organizing the collaboration of the Center with different OSU department, leading enterprises of the region, Russian and abroad universities and laboratories to pursuit the related objectives;
- organizing the activities to stimulate industries to promote the joint researches,meeting the interests of both industrial enterprises and engineering universities;
- promoting the use of innovative technologies and university's scientific research findings in the field of industrial wastes recycle, especially the slags of non-ferrous metal industry;
- promoting self-development and upgrading education by engaging personnel into research and development, and project activity within the fields of the Center's researches;
- creating environment for training innovative-driven engineering staff that would meet the needs of modern market's manufacturing sector and would possess practical skills of 5th and 6th technological paradigms;
- developing collaborations and strategic partnerships for harmonious development of allied high-tech industries;
- supporting physical-chemical studies at the departments and developing technologies by the accredited Center’s laboratories for the use of industrial wastes.
