Admission procedure

The Faculty of Foreign Students` Education of Orenburg State University accepts foreign citizens who do not speak Russian or have insufficient knowledge of Russian for further education at Orenburg State University and other Russian universities in the bachelor's, specialist, master's and postgraduate programs.

Applying for study at the Faculty of Foreign Students` Education at OSU

1. Send the following set of documents by e-mail to fpig@mail.osu.ru:
• Passport + (notarized) certified translation of the passport (scan in color);
• Education document + (notarized) certified translation (scan in color);
• Completed application form;
• Indicate your current phone number and e-mail address.
2. You will receive a response to your application (application form and contract for study) by e-mail.
3. After signing the contract and making an advance payment (the cheque is sent to the faculty e-mail fpig@mail.osu.ru), the university sends the applicant's documents for an invitation.
4. After being enrolled in the list of students of the faculty and receiving an invitation, you must contact the embassy or consulate of the Russian Federation in your country to obtain an entry student visa.
5. Upon arrival at OSU, report to the dean's office of the Faculty of Foreign Students` Education (Pobedy Avenue, 13, academic building #16, 2nd floor, office 16207) with the following documents required for further processing:
• passport and (notarized) copy of the passport translation into Russian;
• original document on previous education and its (notarized) translation into Russian;
• 4 color photographs on matte paper (3×4 cm);
• financial resources required to pay for tuition, medical insurance and dormitory accommodation.
